Bar Fishing Clamp

Bull Dog Spear

The Bulldog Spear is a wireline fishing tool designed to catch the internal diameter of a wireline tool or other type “fish” requiring an internal latch.

The Bulldog Spear is made especially for wireline operations and is available with a wide range of hardened and tempered slips to withstand heavy fishing operations

Center Spear

The Center Spear is made by welding barbs on a pointed rod. It is most commonly used when the wire is balled up and stuck in the tubing. It can be driven into the tangled wire to loosen it and facilitate the use of a two prong wire grab for final wire retrieval.

Wirefinder Retriever

The Wireline Retriever is designed to retrieve broken or cut slickline from the tubing. It locates and balls the broken wire with the aid of the Split Skirt (located at the bottom of the tool). The wire is then trapped in between the spear point and the Split Skirt. Pulling up on the tool spring wedges, the broken line within the tool and the retrieving process can begin.

Wireline Snipper

The wireline snipper is used to cut the wireline at the rope socket. The wireline snipper is assembled around the wireline and dropped from surface. When the snipper contacts the rope socket the lower portion is forced upward, and the center wedge is forced sideways, and cuts the wireline. If the force was insufficient to cut the wireline, a flat bottomed go devil is then placed on the wireline and dropped on top of the snipper to finish the cut. The snipper and any go devils can be fished out of the hole with standard fishing
